Ironbridge has been called Six square miles that changed the world. A Unesco World Heritage Site,  the Ironbridge Gorge was the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Iron goods and pottery flowed from here around the globe. See the World’s first iron bridge and the 10 museums that cover the history of the area. Or let me take you on a longer tour to include the superb town of Shrewsbury. The town's Abbey inspired the Father Cadfael stories. Stroll through its myriad Shuts, or alleys, with their old timber framed buildings.

Location

From Shrewsbury, it’s just a short trip to explore the stunning landscape of the Long Mynd and the Shropshire Hills. You can also visit Much Wenlock, home of  the modern Olympics.
